Never realised this car has been around for 50 years. An example of what is a classic in my opinion. It's always had that 'classic' sports car look.

Just watched a couple of them fanging around Dunedin in the rally. They still sound good on the gas.

Yes, amazing cars. New GT3 with PDK for me please. This is worth a watch if you are interested in fast cars...

The 911 is much more than that.
Unlike the Mustang, which is a short wheelbase ugly Falcon sold to high school girls, which has evolved with 'murika and become a fat useless turd? :devil2:
Terrible flippin' things them 'Stangs.

Picture 4 defiantly has the weirdest & possibly ugliest looking bike's I've ever seen . Not bad looking for a car tho, would be better in one of the Model T Ford colours

I guess with a muscle car you can park anywhere you want to. Personally, I think the cougar is a far nicer looking car than the mustang.
Heres a chainsaw for the 'real' men out there.281120, I have a Solo chainsaw as well, but this must be the next model up.

Yea good rally, Porsches sounded mint. How was the v12 BMW 5 series giving it a go? haha.
I was all about the Audi s1 Quattro replica.. sadly it didn't survive day 1 and I didn't get a chance to go out for the end of day 2 to see if it returned
couple pics from a couple of the Porsches in the rally:

God I hope you're talking the Mercury Cougar & not the Ford...
As for that Chainsaw I think you'd have to be built like Zeus to make any real use of it

Which is this car? I always thought Mercury and Ford were one and the same. I had taken a short video clip of the v8 chainsaw running. sounds fantastic. He did explain the cooling system that was in it but wasn't listening to well.

The Ford version doesn't look like any thing more than a Mondeo.

You've been talking to my missus haven't you? She gets a slap every time she's says that....

When they were first released, they were called the Porsche 901. The Peugot complained and said it had rights on all road cars with a 0 in it (403, 404, etc)
so Porsche changed it to 911!

I'll bite... this comment is typical of 911 haters. No one who's driven one would ever say this, and someone who would say this would never drive one anyway.
They've the benchmark sports car for a reason.
Any 911 or Porsche owners on here?

Is there a motorbike that gives a Porsche type of riding experience?
Well, if you're talking about a highly refined machine that is both fast and reasonably comfortable and practical, maybe any of the Japanese 1000cc sports bikes, or their European equivalents? I've never driven a Porsche though.
