Im a just wondering if anyone of you can help me get a siamese cat. It doesnt have to be a pure bred or cost upwards of $100 but I had one growing up and I love them to pieces. Could someone contact me if they have one or know of somewhere I can get one?

try the trade and exchange, in the pets section just keep an eye out to see if anyones got one they want to give away or sell. could always google it and search for breeders within New Zealand for a purebred if all else fails.

Contact all your local vets, they may know where you can get one from.
Also contact your local SPCA, they sometimes have one that some person doesnt want any more.

Re: cat. Check local papers over the weekend. Trade me is a waste of time as its against T & C to sell live animals. Most definitely talk to the local vet, but you'll pay for the good option. Good luck with the SPCA, will be lucky to find exactly what you want there. Best of luck mate, I'd just fork out the bucks and get exactly what you need from a good breeder.

Thought about Burmese? Just as much character as a Siamese, but without the soundtrack.

Never thought much of them until we looked after my daughters one for a few days....now Im a convert. Thinking about getting one myself now.
As others have said, check the local cat clubs and vets for local breeders.
