A bit rough on the job loss front... He was just having a laugh. The helmet mounted cam would make any reasonably intelligent overweight American cop think twice though... surely shirley?

What a good cunt...............stink he lost his job. No speeding really, just a playful launch.
If more were more like that it'd break down the barriers. :niceone:

Yeah just part of the increasing PC bullshit, more cops like that & it would be a better place.

No doubt the owner of the red bike will have frequent visits from the ex-cops cop buddies!
Silly old world we live in.

Overall pretty harmless, putting him behind a desk for a couple of weeks might have been more appropriate, sacking him just shows how stupid yanks can really be, shame we follow the path they lay.........

Was just being lazy, cheers.
Turns out he wasn't even fired to begin with...
"I saw the video and I was called in about it, and I decided to resign because I was embarrassed," Rogers said. "I couldn't take the embarrassment that I knew was going to follow that. I never intended to bring a negative view onto the city, to the Montgomery Police Department or myself."
Well that's what they say now anyway. the same guy that is quoted saying this:
Murphy said had he not considered the evidence, and the fact that Rogers demonstrated a willingness to be held accountable for his behavior, he would not have been a good leader.
"The burden and decision falls on me, and I'm going to accept that responsibility," Murphy said, adding that Rogers is an officer — and a man — worth saving.
Also said this....
“For the very thing that we are out here enforcing the law, for an officer to cross that line and violate it, there’s no excuse. I will not tolerate it, and he is no longer wearing the badge,” Murphy told WSFA.
