Hi There,

So . . . I have my '99 DR650 apart to effect a repair.
This is one of the years that doesn't have a "torque limiting device" fitted to the starter motor. ( As a result I am effecting repairs)
I am interested to see what this device entails.
Does anyone have one ( possibly in Christchurch or near) that I could have a look at.
Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Pete

i had the same year, i ended up getting one from Khientech engineering after my casing internals got smashed, you will be hard fetched to find one with a spare floating around as it was only that year that suki didnt have one. if theres anyone doing a rebuild its only a matter of pulling the case off to have a looksey.

98-99 had the solid gear.

I may have a spare somewhere in the Emporium...
