View Full Version : Suzuki GN250 - Good condition

I am selling my Suzuki GN250. One of the later Japanese models, not the Chinese crap. It runs well and is in good condition for it's age - with some maintenance will be a good roadworthy bike for a beginner.

It's currently de-registered so requires the full reregistration process.

There are some spots of rust but not bad for it's age. The chain is stretched and will need replacing. Engine runs well, although carb and fuel lines could probably use a clean (stutters sometimes)

Will put up more pics & confirmed KMs later today.

so... I am guessing it wont survive a trip from auckland to christchurch if I was to ride it back?

Short answer, no I wouldn't try it without doing the proper maintenance it needs first to get it up to scratch. It has no registration and the chain is loose - other than that, I believe the engine would survive the trip.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your offer. I would take $600 as my lowest at this point as I'm not desperate to sell yet (new bike is a few weeks away still), and the bike is in what I would call fairly presebtable condition for a bike of its age.

If you're not intereeted in working out a deal now, id be happy to cntact you if I dont get any better offers in the next 2 weeks.

Sweet I'll take it for 600, where abouts is the bike located. Also when would it be good to pick up?
