Hi all,

Haven't been on Kiwibiker for some time. I'm currently on the look out for a tidy nc30. Price obviously dependent on condition. I'd preferably like one with original colour scheme. Let me know if you've got one, either post here or contact me on 0272336690.

I've previously owned one and would love another!

Cheers.

No replies on here but I got a call this morning by a Kiwibiker who has a mint one in his shed with 8000km on it and almost completely original. Picking up next week! Too good!

The seller did the plugs, fluids, rebuilt carbs, and chain 6 months ago so it runs great!

All it needs is fork seals and fork oil change sometime in the future.

Wow, what a great score. How much did that set you back?

I would hope so!

Really? I thought I paid about what it's worth for a low k tidy example. All the nc30s on trademe have either parts missing or have fibreglass fairings and high high ks and go between 3 and 4k

They're one of the quicker LAMS bikes one can buy and if really tidy I think knocking on 5k is perfectly fair, nice bike.

Except they are not LAMS bikes.

Yeah not LAMs. They are a bit of a classic though now. It was the only type of bike I wanted. Not for any rational reason, just nostalgic ;)

Not a lot come up in the original RWB scheme either...just that HRC sticker there;-)
I know in the UK that scheme commands a premium, TBH with the gear driven Cams I don't think the kms under about 75000 makes any difference, at least you know it's been used properly ;-) but you are right regarding the fairings - i spent no small amount of money collecting a type 8 set from Japan auctions, and not a perfect set either (but pretty darn good).
