getting a bit old looking at posts about fucking cats and '1tonne or Qmoto' (1tonne btw) and 'fuckin pigs ticketed me for 4km over' - where are the build threads at?
restorations, custom builds, bobbers, sportsbikes, racebikes, unique road bikes and custom fabrications and new ideas?
someone around here has to have something sweet going on out in the back of their sheds.
what you got? pics? details? mods?

Did they put it in a bottle toss it in the sea and are relying on ocean currents to get them here?

I was planning on beating up a small alloy cover/screen to update the look of the headlight/instrument set-up on the Hornet. But it's bloody cold in my shed ......... :bleh:

Got some bloody mint gloves from protecta safety that deal with that issue, and don't impede functionality, best <$20 I've spent in fucking ages.

1949 Sunbeam S7 Deluxe.
Stripped down to the frame and engine/gearbox, checked over and parts ordered from Stewart's in the UK.
The cush drive and drive shaft universal were worn so over $400 in parts otherwise not to bad given its age.
140/90/16 inch tyres. (Only British 'fat tyre bike ?)
500 cc OHC engine with Lucas dynamo and distributor.
The single saddle seat cantilevers via a long spring inside the top frame tube.
The wheels interchange.
One up, three down shift and super smooth with no clunk even into first.
No tools needed besides a Tommy bar to remove the wheels or raise the hinged rear mudguard.
The rear brace on the front mudguard hinges down to become a stand for wheel removal.
Some visualisation needed...
Tin foil and water really does work on chrome.
It should be on the road by the end of the month.

Yes, I think so. But would rather wait, than bend over in the middle of the local Suzuki shop and let them Rodger me publicly. They could at least offer to take me in to a dark corner out the back, and offer me some overalls to cry into as I am being reamed.:buggerd: Thieves.:ar15:

Thats cool. Nice job.
To be fair I dont talk about my work on bikes here these days. People only interested if you have crashed or got caught speeding. I dont see this as a motorcycle tech site at all.

You'd get a better response on a model specific forum.

Turbo is good for 600hp. Budget currently blocked from on going vet bills that have put me in debt. Probably going to be a while before I crack on with it again, ecu is the last part on the list. Going to cost 4k almost, most expensive thing on the damn bike.
Probably going to have to sell my fzr to fund it. Right now I'm focusing on trying to scrub the edges off my PP3's. Surprisingly difficult given the fact the last poker run only had 6 corners in it...
