I finally gotten my ass into gear and did the BMH course and sat the theory (annoyed I got two wrong :/ ) .
I have just bought a colleague's Yamaha SR250 and am starting to riding locally. I need to practice my starts, etc, as I have a bad habit of letting the clutch out too quickly, causing it to stall. Then it is onto hill starts *GULP*. Luckily there are some hills closeby for me to practice on.
I am determined to get better as soon as I can but just hoping I don't drop it too many times.

Good luck with your practice....
but you should not drop bike at all...
nor should you ever crash...
get your skills up...
dont rush it, take your time,
get somebody in the know to help you along

Well done, unlike me you are doing things the right way round. 30+ yrs of riding, I am almost good enough to go for my license.:Punk::Punk:

Dude, give yourself plenty of time. Team up with someone with riding experience to give you riding advice. Worked for me

Awesome mate good stuff
Dont worry the skills will come in no time and your confidence will improve every time you ride, get to know the bike and it will grow on you. Have confidence and think about drops.:niceone:

41 years of age, never had a license of any sort and tired of walking and running to and from hockeyor wherever. So sat my license and have started collecting bikes
Way more fun then walking 10 hours a week
