Feck yeah darn cool place to live, and ya right AF the people are awesome. We used to live next to the Maori university, the old house is now part of the uni.

Unfortunately they bulldozed the best cafe in town to make way for more of that corporate tat they sell on main st. Spent many an hour in Morris's cafe, specially when out about on the bike and needing somewhere dry to hang out. Wily, Do ya remember it Bro?

true out of it! .. yea I'm pretty sure that house is used for Putaiao now (environmental studies) next to the Kohanga eh ... all the people here are friendly .. the maori's, the pakehas, the asians and even the Indian foursquare owner who calls everyone bro lol what a legend .. I am not Ngati Raukawa so this definitely isn't my stomping ground only been here since January this year but I am enjoying it and the people. Gotta watch some of those fish & chip shops a few are a bit dodgy eh lol we pretty much just hang out at Cafe Ra ... owned by a young couple, awesome people, great coffee. :first:
