I come from;
Honda zoomer 50
Yamaha Vino50
Yamaha vino125
Honda Postie CT110
Hyosung GT250R
Hyosung G250 comet
Suzuki volty TU250X
Suzuki Marauder VZ800
Yamaha XJ6N
Yamaha FZ1N
Yamaha R1..
I just had a ride on Suzuki GSR750 in the twisties for about 2hours for the first time and couldn't stop smiling inside my helmet because it was just so damn smooth.
Not sure about the fashionable headlight and I hate the square section budget rear swing arm but out of all the bikes I've owned above, It really was the most pleasurable experience I've had on the bike.
Clutch pull was like squeezing my hand in the air.
No vibration what so ever on handle bars and foot pegs... etc etc etc..
So whats the smoothest bike you guys ever ridden?
further to this, How do you go about making your bike feel more smooth?
Some of my old 250 cruisers had this really annoying vib anywhere above 100km/h, side mirrors started to shake real bad, not the mention handle bars and foot pegs..

Smooth... probably a Honda F6B, the bagger goldwing. The 6 cylinder engine is very smooth and endless torque...

Hmmmmm, it's a close tie between a Yamaha Bolt and a Ducati Streetfighter.

I've seen this done with a CBX too but can't find the video now. Pretty hard to beat a six cylinder for smoothness.......

Clutch cables/levers are probably one of the most neglected parts on bikes. Will always feel good on anything new.
Smoothest bike would have been a demo blackbird when they first came out...

Smoothness can be a bad thing too. I'm trying to think which bike it was that I rode, but it was so smooth that you actually felt disconnected from the bike and it was characterless.

obviously not the best but the smoothest bike I've ridden was a vfr800x
fairly heavy and suspension was a bit firm but the ride and engine were really smooth compared to anything else I've ridden.

'99 Bandit 1200 after I got the wheel alignment spot on.
I don't mind a bit of engine shake and vibration on a bike though, makes it more exciting.

Took a Honda F6B for a test run Saturday, that flat six is really smooth. Noticeably smoother than the ST1100 vee 4. Tonnes of torque so the bike just glided away from any stop and around corners. Nice suspension too, so didn't notice all those pesky narrow gauge cane railroad crossings we have up this way.

Yeah I rode the new Valkyrie and have ridden a Wing. I imagine the big BMW might be similar. Then again there's nothing wrong with subtle vibes from the engine room to remind you that you're on a bike. You don't need to have your feet continually sliding off the pegs or your fillings falling out, I do mean subtle.

CBX no question
Yeh have to agree those 6 cyl's were awesomely smooth.... I'd say the Gold Wing is the other one right up there.

Completely agree re vibes, after all, I ride a twin. However, OP simply asked for the smoothest bike I'd ridden... gotta be that F6B (well, any 6 is probably going to be pretty smooth)
