Aff-man has been on my case to photograph him on his new pride and joy - we'll have a go this Saturday if the weather is suitable.
Suggest we might head out to Clevedon/Monument hill area again and find some nice corners for some ride bys and action shots.

Few people said they would be interested if we did it again.
We're after this sort of thing:

10.30 ish - Mission Bay car park (west of the fountain) Saturday Morning.
Weather permitting.

Mind you it depends on whether I get my boots back...
They are being resoled at the moment...
Hope to pick them up by Saturday morning at the latest.

plus it also depends on the weather as well...

13 of us meet up at Mission Bay.....

We all rode off to Papakura to gas up...
A couple of us had trouble getting the petrol machine to actually work...

I left them at the gas station to head home as my lower back was so sore....
so 12 headed out to get some lovely snapshots of their bikes.

Mint stuff, big thanks to Big Dave. Gotta have big kahunas standing at the side of the road while a bunch of adrenalin charged throttle jockeys come hooning towards ya.

Mind you, who the fuck's gonna want to crash into you?

Had a nice leisurley ride after that, lost half the group, "lets go back the way we came" 'round a bend and here they are, one having a little lie dwn and a rest and a very saturated bike covered in mud. No bad injuries, I'll let tose that saw it post comments.

Now I feel like I've got the flu bad. Nice.

Hope he's ok.

Zed
17th September 2005, 15:22
Ok, what happened...?The young guy on his multi-coloured ZXR250 took a corner too hot and went wide into the gravel and lost it into a country drain full of sewage, someone took a pic of it in there so hopefully will post it up. I hope the rider is ok, he had a good spirit about him and his only complaint was a sore ankle?

Four of us were at the castle on SH2 waiting for more to meet up with us but they never came, so we departed for home the same route we had come and found the rest of the group 15 mins up the road...

Good on ya Dveus for grabbing your van for the rescue!

I had a great ride, thanks Dave for the organisation and pics, looking forward to seeing them. Enjoyed the wheelie practise!

Missed most of the rain except the last 40mins before arriving home, otherwise had dry weather, bit windy though!

Until next time...:wavey:
