Well, not really on the QT, but my mail is that if you are interested in a Rocket III - In the same tasty yellow/gold as the Speed Triple - or perhaps a Thruxton takes your fancy, (seen that in yellow? hmmmm! hmmmm!) the current stock situation means the 'pencil might be a bit sharp' at your favourite Triumph dealer right now.

Shhhh....(pass it on).

Also, Patrick has a new Speed 3 in hornbag black at AMPS right now
too. Day-yammm it's nice.

Hmm, tempting if nothing else.

What I do need for the Speedmaster is a wee bolt for the chrome half circle cover type thing that has all the holes in it near the battery cover. Farkin searched everywhere after doing the 6 monthly maintainance and its bloody disappeared off the face of the earth. I'm scared amps are going to charge 20 bucks for a bolt.

Go and check out the bolt shop in Archers Rd, near the Police base. They have bolts for Africa.

Good tip. :niceone:
I had a missing peg feeler, and bought two stubs, two s/s cap bolts and two locknuts for $9 from them. Would've cost several times that just for one peg feeler from the dealer, and wouldn't have looked as good.

You would love the way the Thruxton goes - Go and test ride one if you haven't already. really nice bike and a sharp lookin' piece of kit.
feel of the tbird with modern everything.
