To you chaps who may have entered Paeroa on a classic, can anyone cover basic rule outlines for this class? Paeroa Promotions don't give even the year's of machines eligible anywhere in the entry package, and don't answer their rider info email address so to the expertise of Kiwirider I turn ;) It's OK, there are still three days to get entries in.

Yep, that's where I have mailed. That's the classes racing, but 'Classic' doesn't really tell ya what they mean does it? 1998 R1's in Red and White will be classic, I might race one of them ;)

I've raced the Briggo there in "Classics" and it's in "Pre '76" class bike at NZCMRR meetings. Pretty sure they have the same cut-off at Paeroa. For some strange reason they have Pre '82 for classic sidecars the same as Wanganui. What are you hoping to ride? Surely not Steve's bike? Think you might have some argument from the other Classic guys on that one:laugh:

Bloody young fullas.

Don't worry, it will probably be protested cos its on a state highway and somebody rode around without a hat on.

That aside...does one have to pay the transponder fee even if they bring their own?

I thought the blue ones were faster Jay!?

Dont have to pay for a transponder if you dont hire one... I believe.

As a pure outsider who's not entering - or going to Paeroa - I'd look first at the Supp Regs...

If there's no definition of the Classic class there, then it must revert to what is in the book - Chapter 23.

You better head up & stay with us as per the offer I made. We need a good mechanic for the GSX.

Answered elsewhere - but are you sure it isn't a good lawyer you need ?
