Such clear and realistic graphics, wouldn't it be cool if the same crowd did a motorcycle game? Well, looks like they are about to, check this out......PS2 "Tourist Trophy" (http://ps2.ign.com/articles/651/651118p1.html)

The Gran Turismo crowd are the biz at simulators. My brother works for a video game developer I've suggested a Supermoto game would be cool and would definately go like hot cakes and boost the popularity of the sport.

I dunno, looks fantastic, but you can't simulate the handling of a bike without making the game impossible.
I tried some of the latest at the shops, race into a corner, brake far to late and do the sharpest turn on the grass and you don't come off... :weird:
And there was no sensation. That said, you couldn't make the handling realistic because then it would be impossible to play. Rock and a hard place, but I won't buy it.

It has: motogp series, 600cc series, 1000cc series and a 1200 (or is it 1300?) series also. Graphics are well improved and I thought I was playing a PS2 game when I first started playing it (thank goodness I wasn't after rechecking it was in fact an xbox). Although that other game that is spoke of, Riding Spirirts 2 sounds really cool. TT looks awesome also, but I am junlikely to get another gaming machine to play it.

Must buy that, it looks like one of the BEST ways to waste time on the playstation. Only for a rainy day because I wouldn't trade it for a sunny days riding.

Depends what settings you run the game at, if on real life simulation or hardest settings they can be tricky. I think on the PS2 MotoGP series just locking the front brake into a corner can have you off, never mind getting on the grass. The TT Superbikes game has the most spectacular crash sequences though ;)

It looks mighty interesting, the video is cool. The latest bike game I've tried is MotoGP 2, it's good, but I still think they haven't got the handling right. I want to see if they've changed it at all in MotoGP3 which is supposed to be out for PC now.
Looks like I might have to save up for a PS2 though...
The thing with the handling in MotoGP2 is that when you lean the bikes, they seem to pivot about the point where the tyres contact the road.
In reality when you countersteer the bike pivots around its centre of gravity, which is considerably further up from the tyre contact patch.
Hopefully they get it right in TT.

You'll be able to tune such areas as your front fork angle, engine, dumper and final gear ratio.
Cool, I always wanted to tune my dumper...

I want moto GP 4 you can play as 125cc 250cc and Moto GP Rossi is on the Yamaha it looks pretty cool. But one of the best games in my opinions still has to be superbike 2001 it is hard you touch the white line at 280 klicks and your going down the track plus it has the New Zealand legend Aaron Slight

I only bought the ps2 for GT4, I was rather disappointed with the pathetic AI.
Tekken 5 is damn good too, and flat out.

After owning every GT except for the arcade and the GT4 driving school versions... I have to say that this game will probably change motorcycle games for ever and set new benchmarks. GT has consistently done this with each release.
Hell - cage companies test virtual prototypes on GT!!
I cannot wait for this :wari:

Grown men playing video games? You sad bastards. And on a motorbike forum. Get a life you geeks.
But as we're on the subject on video games I beat Rossi for the first time last night on the pro level (career mode) Moto GP3 for the X-Box. It took me bloody weeks.
Love GT3 & 4. And if this new bike game their developing is anything like as good as GT3 or 4. I'd buy it in a flash.

they reckon the average age of a video gamer now worldwide is 45.
Amazing really.
I may just have to buy a PS2 for riding spirits. I played it once and now am hooked. bugger.

Agreeed with Trisnkastss comments. They're completely owned up everytihnig that comes close.
So hopefully this one will do more than that, and completely annihilate all competition.
Who knows the NZ release date?!

My thaughts exactly :D Gotta love the busa wheelie.
And they had the traditional 'bike/car getting taken to redline' sound that is on almost every gt trailer/video :D :D
Nothing more exciting than that!
in gaming that is....

I like the R1 power wheelie at the start, then if you watch frame by frame, when the front wheel comes down, the back lifts off the ground.. very nice.. but then you also see the front wheel unrealistically slide for a few meters before it turns. Then I remind myself A) it's just a game, and b) it's a preview of an unfinished game.
I don't have an xbix or PS, and so far, I've been good at not blowing money I don't have (ignore the bike), but I think I'm gonna have to crumble here..

Mmmhh, very yummy graphics with (what looks like) awesome physics as well.
ATM I reckon TT Superbikes is the best M/C game ever.
On the graphics department this one already takes the cake quite easily but it'll be intereting to actually test it out to see if the bikes feel as real as they do on TT SBK.

I'm possibly making even more of a fool of myslef, but isn't the bike that does a wheelie at the start a CBR1000RR?
