Just got myself a motorcycle, sat my Handling cert today, and then on my ride home on my 50cc scooter (that i was just about to go put on trademe), started doing some funny stuff. It stalled twice when stopping at intersections, the second time it wouldn't electric start until I gave it some throttle, something i've never had to do before. From what I can tell it was the intersections that I braked to a stop rather than rolling to a stop.

I got home and it would no longer electric start at all, but kick started ok. I checks the battery voltage which was ok, closed the cover and now it electric starts ok as well. It has 2000km on it, had an oil change and air filter cleanout at 1000km and thats it since I bought it.

Any ideas what is going on?

Might be the fuel screw or similar on the carbs. Does it do it more often when the engine is warmed up well?

Thinking loose connection as Akzle so nicely put it :P Since I pulled the battery out to check it, it hasn't done anything funny.
