Seeing as the NZ dollar is near 1/1 with Aus have we noticed any drop in new model bikes yet. Its likely most of NZ stock seems to be via Aus importers and there is still a large difference in what we pay and other countries pay for the same bike.
Maybe someone involved in importing has an idea if prices will drop soon or already have.

Parity with the Oz $ is because the Oz $ has weakened.
Compared to GBP it's exactly the same as it was 3 years ago.

only Yamaha and KTM are though the Aussie distributors, the rest are direct, its more the yen and the euro that have more effect rather than the aussie $

Yep but they will already have the 2015 stock. I know Kwak gets to purchase the available aus stock.
When I wanted a pure black ninja I had to get the shop to import it ex aus stock as there were none in nz.

Maybe the shop lied or it changed in last 2 years. Possible I misinterpreted no black ones in NZ but the stock is ex Aus we will see if they have any.
