Coming into the pub car park this evening to meet up with a few friends, as you do. All the car parks were full but what do I care I can park anywhere right? Found a place that I could prak on a bit of a slope. Put the side stand down then slowly leant over the bike. Decided that it was a bit too steep so moved back abit.
Moved back abit further, tried to lean the bike slowly on to the side stand to test how steep it was. Lost my footing and the bike started to go down, nearly saved it but not quite.

The good news that the only damage it a slight scuff on the end of the clutch lever, slightly damaged ego as well I guess. Oh well these happen, its the 1st time i've ever had a bike on its side.

Good news that there was no damge. Don't worry about it being the first time you've had a bike fall over, it happens to most of us at some stage.

Its even more embarrassing when you have to go and find another rider to help you lift the bike up again. :slap:

You were lucky there were people around to laugh at you and make you feel stupid - last time it happened to me there was NO ONE around,I was in the middle of nowhere and couldn't pick the bike up without help.

Amazing how heavy your bike really is when it gets past that point aye?
Hard luck dude, atleast you got off lightly. I did the same thing the other day, scratched the fairing abit, the muffler and the end of the brake lever..... fortunately only the missus was there to see it (& hear the colourful language).... embarassing that we were out there cause I was supposed to be teaching her to ride on the 250 at the time.
I'm still pissed about it....
