Ohlins shocks

Just curious, if the model number is 46PRCLS (or whatever it is), will it fit all bike for which that model (or a similar one) is recommended?

Some dude's selling one that he had on his GSXR1000, and I'm wondering if it would fit my '02 6R? Or are they all different lengths for different intended bike models (though this one is adjustable for length I think).
