Hi, I'm looking for a larger aftermarket fuel tank for a drz400e, any size considered. I can be contacted on 0211915590. The price and location I entered just to fill the necessary boxes.

Thanks very much fo the link, that looks very good. I will see if anyone on here has anything larger and if not then that would do nicely. Appreciate the reply.

I thought I saw a 20ltr tank for DRZ 400 for sale in Australia in their bike mags, I could be wrong on the size. Try Ebay Australia

Thanks, I'll have a look there. Do you know what taxes etc get added on to buying something like that from Aussie, I have heard stories of different gsts and taxes getting added on costing hundreds more than just the purchase price and shipping.

Safari tanks in Aussie -- they are the bomb, strongest and best molds by far --- you wont pay aussie gST on the order if you buy direct from them --- but NZ will "Most likly" hold for GST, a few years back I bought one for my DRZ400SM was about $750 all up

That's them, yep heaps of ADV bikes in Aus use aftermarket tanks, especially when fuel stations can be 400 km apart.

Thanks for all the replies. If anyone has a safari tank sitting around needing a new home I would love to hear from you. I've sent an email to the guys at safari and they certainly seem very good to deal with and have the best reviews.

just makesure whatever tank you buy its for your DRZ, the S/SM mounts by sitting on pucks --- where as the E drz it screws to the frame using little brackets --- all after market ones usually make both types so don't get caught out with a useless tank ^_^
