Finding trails(Auckland-Waiheke Island)

Hi All,


Planning to purchase my first dirt bike in the near future, just wondering how to find trails and interesting tracks ect to ride? The main problem is the fact I live on Waiheke Island and am not sure how to go about finding land/trails to ride on, I don't know anyone who rides on the island and don't believe there is bike club of any kind.

Any tips are appreciated, cheers!

Call into Waiheke Diesel, and talk to Archie. He knows most people worth knowing and also was a bit of a demon on a sidecar back in the day.
The dirt track club has good connections too.:msn-wink:
