Good bike, needs some tlc. blowing some blue smoke so needs rings or valve stem seals, can be seen running.

Needs a chain, was riding home one day started smoking rather heavily and then the chain snapped so it got trailered home and shoved in the corner. got last wof with nil issues but that has run out now plenty of meat still on the tyres, discs good etc.

just needs more love than i'm willing to put into her currently.

As in it is a good bike overall... its under 500 bucks of parts to fix it...

But hey go pay 4 grand for a different one if you dont like it.

Because i could rebuild this thing in under a day i just cant be fucked hence im selling it cheap.

Forks dont leak. discs are good. tyres are good, all the lights work etc as i said. flew through wof...

Oh no it has an engine problem, because you know... parts wear out over time, imagine that...

I'm open to sensible offers on it as i have other projects to attend to.

If nobody wants it itll just sit in the corner it's not like i need the money.

tyre kickers... these bikes sell for 3.5-4k if you can even find one....

Rode well, will go basically anywhere, had some really good adventures on it... it's nothing flash...

it needs fixing...

hence i'm open to reasonable offers on it....

Given i paid 3.7k for it... i'd like to get at least a grand for it.

If somebody wants it for that sweet... if not ill just leave it sitting there and strip it down and rebuild it to use as my adventure bike next year.

Been painted black since, lazy rattle can job, never meant to be a show pony given i mostly rode it on gravel.

Tank fairings and seat are off it.

Oh man gutted that I have just found and joined up to this site and missed out on this deal! Love these older adventure bikes, so much potential for fun times. Have spent a few days riding my father in laws 1996 Africa twin and man it's great. My budgets pretty low at the moment with a recent first child but if the new owner of this wants to let it go please get at me, alternatively if anyone has something similar let me know, I'm not scared of a bit of work, rebuilt my rmz450 and old blown up (brought like it) dr250 myself a few years ago.
