My fave from the other night was listening to 2 candidates discussing the financial situation of Porirua. One left the argument with "I don't care", WTF?... which was swiftly followed up by me asking a question that was to be taken on an economic basis alone, only to be met with, "that's illegal", along with, "It's not Councils responsibility". Oh the lols. Some people need a job.

Back in the day when you could drive everywhere with bugger all traffic, they crossed leased land and said " you need this to be a world class city", traffic got worse so they made bus lanes that made it worse " you need this be world class city", more people arrived..." you need more people to make public transport viable and to be a world class city".

Whilst driving across town the other evening it took me 50 minutes to do what was once a 15 minute drive and I thanked them for delivering " a world class city":niceone:
