DR 650 SE bottom end or complete motor wanted (for a Freewind)

I'm looking for a bottom end for my Freewind (XF 650). It's the same as a '96-on DR650, as I understand it.

No idea on the price, but had to put one in. I assume it will be more than $1 ;)

And/or if you're the kind of person that likes to rebuild bottom ends for fun, maybe we can do a deal.

Thanks Mossy. I'd spotted that but sadly no, the early DR's were different. As it happens there's also a bloke in Warkworth whose ad says he has a motor, but in fact he hasn't!

If you take the crank into a competent motorcycle workshop they should be able to rebuild it for you, and OEM rod kits aren't too expensive for the dr650 IIRC
May as well do mains, gearbox bearings, and seals while you're at it

Thanks for the thoughts. I've got a (running) DR650 as well but that ideally needs a new crankcase (it's a '99 and has suffered a bit of their notorious kickback damage) . So I was trying to kill two birds with one stone, by swapping out the Freewind bottom end and thus freeing up its crankcase as a permanent fix for my DR.

If I don't turn up what I need fairly soon I'll look into other options. Cheers.
