Has anyone bought one of those big ones on TM? Are they any good? I would buy second hand if anyone in Canterbury has one for sale..I would need the table length 1.8 meters.

Nope but rated at 450kg so should be hefty enough - even for a Harley ......

that wasn't hard.
pretty sure i had one of these and they're not worth a cunt full of cold snow if you own a road bike, especially anything over a handful of CC's.
you need one where the ramp is not under the back wheel as for starters the centre of the bike is towards the rear making these unstable, ask for a piccie of road bike on board and make up you mind, make sure it's not photoshopped to downsize it as some sellers are guilty of that....

I'm trying to picture a cunt full of cold snow, or if indeed there is any other kind of snow & for what purpose one would require to fill the aforementioned cunt with snow, and the approximate monetary value of the cunt once filled with snow, or if the snow has in fact increased or reduced the value or future value of the cunt & how that value relates to the current value of a possibly light duty & undersized bike lift.

for what purpose one would require to fill the aforementioned cunt with snow. absolutley none, hence the description Steve..., best chance to find one was maybe at a cold kiwi, either or, there are very few 'single use girlfriends' there these days anyway.

I see you're in ChCh. Give Alan Bland a ring - Bland bros, Ryans Rd - He used to import full size tables from the US and may have something left.
"Single use girlfriends" now there's a thing.....

The piston pretty much flash rusted when I got it home. No chrome on it, no zinc. I hear you.

HFT stuff is OK as long as you don't expect top o the line items for half the price. For what you get the prices are good and there is a full money back policy. Mostly better than what I have seen at Super Cheap for a lot less dollars.

Reminds me of a guy in my town who tried to make a heap of bike lifts out of old hospital gurneys like this one only much older and very, very used...

He didn't understand why it wouldn't hold the weight of his ZX1400 and why nobody else wanted to buy them.

There's a guy on the maintenance staff at ChCh Public Hospital who's been known to put old beds in the way of bike guys. I met him and got to have a look at what he was putting out for disposal about 2 years back. I aimed one local at them and he did convert a bed to a table. He reported it was a shitload of work and I'm sure it was only feasible because he had access to heavy fabrication gear at his work...
But if you do particularly want an outsize table, it's about the only option. They were actually too big for my workshop.

i have one that looks very similar to that and i have no problem putting the goldwing up on it, yes it is lightly built compared to a quality one but budget didn't allow spending $1500 or more on a better one and this one has certainly made it easier to work on the bikes, i have taken the front wheel clamp off as it didn't work very well, mine came from an outfit in Rangiora.

I don't think you could buy the castors, fittings and steel and DIY any cheaper. So I'm pretty happy about it, it's a great price and I only have two restorations left in me before old man arthur-itis gets his bastard needles into me mitts big time. It'll see me out.
