I need to make a gasket for a fuel tank. What is the best product to ise and where to buy it from. Ta

Its not an gasket I can just buy.

If it's a gasket that's going to be permanently wet, I don't know. The only fuel resistant gasket sealant I've ever found is the Loctite purple instant gasket. That'll even stand up to Methanol.
Since the late 70's everything designed to be wet has had an O ring seal - that I've seen anyway.

Might be worth asking a local outfit who do in tank injection pumps what they use.

Nitrile sheeting should do the trick, that and a wad punch or two. Draw it and get Shuk to cut it.

Yeah, nitrile is the Right Stuff. EPDM for coolant and brake fluid.

An ex Mobil engineer told me to use Loctite Master gasket when I reused my Yamaha gasket, so as usual Grumph is on the money. Lasted.

You would need to watch what kind of material you mix with what kind of fuel. Alcohols and Benzenes dissolve different things.
