250 four stroke is an automatic Lams bike unless excluded.

those CBR500's are SOOO overpriced its insane that any get sold at all in NZ --- go ride the cbr500r then go ride the ninja400 let us know if you reckon it's worth the extra 4K when the ninja is a nicer bike to ride in all aspects. if it were 9K new then yeah they'd be reasonable but 12K :tugger:

An thinking person might assume ... as he is currently riding a Honda 400. Downsizing to a 250cc would NOT be his preferred option ... just to be able to ride a ZXR ... :pinch:

Would YOU ... ??? ;)

all way to $$$$ for the milage -- er-5s are fine but again not at those crazy prices, 2.5-3k tops! :bash:

its that time of the year where every dreamer is out there trying to sell their POS for 2K above reasonable because summer is around the corner -- bad time of year to buy a bike

This is a good bike/deal won't light the world on fire but very nice to ride in legal limits and brakes/suspension are very good compared to the competition even if it's only got ~28HP will do 150+ if you want them to--- under-rated bike, if they were sold at 5K all the time they'd own the market (but normally 7K)

Plenty of people prefer smaller capacity bikes.

true story, the lure of a big bike is enticing, need a big wallet to maintain and ride them though and they get boring when it's easy to lose your license in 1st and 2nd gear >_<

"little bikes are great" message needs to be spread instead of the macho-ego big bike or go home mentality preached to new riders

I believe some of this just comes from marketing bs from stores trying to sell another bike to the rider once they've gained their full, eh well we need them around (except bluewing honda which thinks their bikes in NZ are worth 3K more than overseas markets and only import a measly range)
