This is a place for people to make their predictions about the 2020 election.

This is going to be the most corrupt US election ever, and US elections are known for corruption. This one will be fully up to (down to?) the worst banana republic standards. It should be a massive landslide for Biden but the gerrymandering and voter suppression will affect that hugely. I hope Biden comes through but I wouldn't bet much money on it.

One factor unique to this election is that the people who man the polling places tend to be elderly, people in that high risk group are not applying for the job during a pandemic. I've seen mention of an appeal to younger people to apply for the job, but so far just the one mention. In places people already have to queue five hours. If there are less polling stations there will be longer queues - but only in some places.

Mail voting will feature heavily due to the pandemic.

I'm predicting a Trump win, followed by months of legal arguments, during which Biden will withdraw for "medical" reasons (his dementia will finally become obvious to all), which will kick off a fight amongst the Democrats to redo the whole voting process.

I'm going to add to this (so that the 'rules' are clear up-front)

The narrowness of the Margin will be entirely based on the number of States won and the Electoral College.

Things like:

- The Popular Vote
- Russian collusion
- Big Tech Censorship
- Voter fraud

etc. won't be entered into.

I'd look to the UK Election of 2019, I'd also point to what happened immediately after the LA Riots - There's been a number of Safe Seats that it turns out, weren't safe at all.
