As for someone else mentioning glyphosate (roundup) your getting that in all your fizzy drinks and other products too, the exposure comes from sugars derived from us corn crops, ingredient is named High Fructose Corn Syrup.That particular sugar is very bad for your liver for a start.
I don't think Corn syrup is a common ingredient in NZ product. But yes, increasingly seen as a health risk in the US, as in more of a health risk than other sugar derivatives.
