Really sad to hear the news re John Mayal
Blues from Laurel Canyon is definitely part of my life’s soundtrack

Yesterday I was out and about so couldn't access my normal musical hardware but I did play a Bluesbreakers album on the phone. There is an old rather battered copy of the "Beano" album here that I acquired second hand many years ago. I'll wash that now and give it a spin.

RIP John Mayall

Update: Side 1 was OK but some of the Kellogs snap crackle and pop on side 2 was a bit alarming.
