RS4 vs M5 (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9084754176396721037&q=rs4)

Not massively exciting compared to GR's 15 min dash, but still . . . that RS4's got a bit of poke for a station wagon. I want one . . . would happily trade in the GTB for it, looks like a much better hack to tow the trailer with!

fuck me.. that'd be bad enough on the bike, let alone a car..

but on the other hand, if everyone drove like that, we'd get where we're going a lot faster..

Far out what a couple of tuggers. All i could keep thinking was when are they going to clip the corner of another vehicle and crash and burn:bash:

havent driven an RS4, but spent a bit of time tooling about in an RS2. plenty of poke for sure, would be a nasty surprise to many WRX and Skyline types, I suspect.

the RS4 is basically almost an undercover Porsche.. Has the brakes, suspension, drive train and engine tuned by them. JC dubbed it 'the quickest wardrobe on wheels' and I've seen these embarrass the most sup'd up WRX's too.. not to be under estimated..

that's the one, aiight.

I had a boss about 5 years ago who was an RS2 fan. he still owns and drives it, as far as I'm aware, saw him in it earlier this year.

naturally when I was working for him I always put my hand up for the jobs that required customer visits. he was good enough to let me use the 'company car'.

sometimes I felt it necessary to take slightly longer routes back to the office...

[edit: I remember flooring it from the intersection into the southband onramp at Grafton one morning when the traffic was light, from a standstill at the lights it went over 200 on the clock before I had to brake and turn left to merge onto the motorway]

Nice is right, a proper motor and no mistake. You could do London to the Alps in that and still feel human at the end. I had the 1.9 Turbo oil-burner as company car and that would sit at 90mph for ever and a day, I did a couple of London to Edinburger and backs in it no worries.
