Work at the hell hole from noon to midnight tomorrow and then noon to 9 sunday.

Also broke once again so can't afford to. Shit thing is they sent me home today because they thought I was sick. It's only a cough dammit. I hate my job.

Otherwise I would join up. Have fun though.

Yep it was all done for a Suzuki...
Trip log!!

Arrive in the persistant rain around at Teflons place. 3 bikes and 4 riders away at 7.15am. Rain clears by Tokoroa, but no sign on and sun or warmth. Actually very cool. Another fuel stop at Taupo having arrived via the Aratiatia road to avoid the Taupo cycling race. Teflon pillioned me for this leg... Well got 30 k's out on the Taupo-Napier road and my rear tire goes flat. :( It appears I never accounted for the increased weight of us 2 and the tire overheated and some old patches gave up.
Headed back into Taupo to russel up a trailer and returned to the waiting 3some who were on there way by 11am. My rescuer arrived and bike onto trailer after a struggle.. and off to whatever bike shop we can find open. Honda Dealer open and fortunately has a tire of my size. He only had about 5 road tires and a zillion offroad varity. So pay the man the $'s and accross the road to the tire shop who were just about to close and the man was able to do the job for a 20. So all good.
Bike was rideable .. however in good bike riders style Teflon's flatmate had secured my key into his pocket when it was sitting on the side of SH. And so the bike was back onto the trailer around to friends house for the afternoon.
So while Teflon and 2 others were putting the miles behind them I was dozing infront of a nice warm fire trying to be polite not falling asleep. Was tough 4 sure.
Got several txt's from Teflon where they were up to in their journey and my key was finally reunited with me when Teflon on his new TL and the other 2 back.
So off northwards we headed and back at 7.15. No :Police: on our chosen route and minimal rain.
Felt pretty stuffed afterwards tho and I had only done half the journey... The others must have been a little jaded I'd say.

Not sure why we chose to go on a wet day...
Rain suit is not doing its job. And riding on wet slippery roads is not comforting. So to wake up to a blue cloudless sky this morning...Arr the joys !!

Why wait? A few of the newer Hamilton riders need someone to lead them up to Kopu this coming sunday. I'll be meeting them there from Auckland. Would help alot if you folks could show them the way. Then you can go off and have a faster ride as they are probably much slower than you and I will be two up.

Have to give Glen a ring at Just Fairings.

Fairings or insurance, havn't decided yet.
