The Yamaha WR400 can be registered. Yamaha make good bikes and the WR400 is very popular. Its a bit heavy for trail use and a bit dated now, but if you wanted a serious off road bike you would not be looking at a registerd bike anyway.

The WR400 is a good allround bike, and can do anything. I belive a year or two ago Todd Sutherland racer a WR400 in supermotards and didn't do so badly. so it can be done.
