    wr 400

    hey are the wr 400's good bikes? would be about a 99. what are the good thingd and what are the bad and can they be road reged.

    What WR400?? Yamaha?? Husky??? you need to be a bit more precise in your posts. I never have any clue when you say a "WR400". their has been a few.

    the yamaha wr400 dont think husky made wr 400 in 99

    The Yamaha WR400 can be registered. Yamaha make good bikes and the WR400 is very popular. Its a bit heavy for trail use and a bit dated now, but if you wanted a serious off road bike you would not be looking at a registerd bike anyway.

    i have a kx whick i ride but want something to get around on as i have sold my rode bike so was thinking of getting a enduro so i could do some trail riding on it and then swap to the slicks for road use. i am a student so dont have an endless suply of money so want to get something good for about $5k. any other ideas on bikes,

    The WR400 is a good allround bike, and can do anything. I belive a year or two ago Todd Sutherland racer a WR400 in supermotards and didn't do so badly. so it can be done.
