Ride to Pukekohe/Raglan for Lunch Friday 06/01/2006

Seeing as it's a track day this Friday at Puke, and a few KBers are going, plus I want to go for another decent ride, I invite you to join me in riding down to the track to spectate/support for an hour or so then head off down to Raglan for a 30-40min pitt stop. Then back north via certain awesome open back roads maybe thru Kaiaua/Kawakawa Bay way? :ride:

Whoever is keen please meet at AB, Papakura at 10.00am sharp. Want to get to the track by 10.30am. According to weather forecast Friday is looking fine :sunny: but will likely cancel if it is still wet & windy.

Well the weather came right!! :sunny:

Great ride down to Puke track to witness only ONE group of cars and one group of bikes! Tempted to get on the track but not enuf to part with my hard earned cash, I decided it would be better spent on 3 tanks of petrol and lunch at the Marlin, Raglan. What an enjoyable ride it was, great roads, good weather (bit windy), and good riders.

Thanks for the company robnz, Milky, and Warr. We did have another member join us until we got rained on and then he turned back at Drury, this *piker* will remain nameless in this sentence. How did your day end up behind your computer zrxer? :p

lol Not to bad wasn't all at the puter gave the ZRX a much needed clean up found some good degreesant shit at the warehouse $2.15 a can called 5 star and it eats through the sludge like nothin else
