Hi All, My 1985 gsxr750 has developed a clatter in the main exhaust, I've cut it open and removed a loose baffle, can you still buy new aftermarket ones, can anyone give me an idea of cost?
Cheers Pete.

i got one from neptune mufflers made up for my 86 gsxr 750 mate.
mark done a sweet job.
cost me 440 for it .
i took my bike down to wellington to him and he done it all for me but if you have the dimensions of your old muffler he'll make it and send it down to you and you just cut it and clamp new one on.
they look cool too.
you cant go wrong by using neptune mate.

Hi, Thanks for replying. Its not the muffler its the headers, there’s baffle plates running length ways in the intermediate section of the exhaust, so it may be time for a complete system

Down Otago way i'm not too sure, Cycleworks, Welly way will sus some headers out, any good exhaust/engineer/fabricator should be able to jimmy up some custom headers for you. There's a place out East Tamaki that makes headers/mufflers, do a quick search on the yellow pages and see what you can come up with, it's even worth trying car places that deal with exhausts.

Neptune dont deal with headers, muuflers yes, unless he's branched out lately?
