We all know that Spring and summer are the months that the earth really starts moving and all sorts of new life start up around us. For some reason some of this new life seems to have a suicide wish etched into their genes as from the moment they are mobile they try to kill themselves in various ways.
So as a biker I have done my share in helping them exit this world. Whats your scores (In biological form) of animals and types that you have helped in their quest for suicide.
So far this summer I have 3 birds (2 in the damn helmet), 7 bees and a mouse.

I have never managed to figure it out, but Bren_chch can vouch for it, he barely missed the bastard, but I felt him hit.

It was overtaking him in one of those mouse-wheels and the poor thing forgot to indicate.

1 cat and 1 rabbit in the same week. Both did really good cartwheels before running (if you could call it that) off.
Seems to have quietened down now.

Thats what the cat I hit did. Only hit with the front wheel. It did a full roll then shot off the road as quick as it could. Everyone hassled me, saying it prob ran off and died. Noones seen it since.

probably considered murder when you aim for them ay, so I'd rather not discuss the victims for fear it may incriminate me at a later date....crazy lady had a bloody funny (and messy) one though...bird timed it into her back wheel...feathers everywhere and the next bike in the run got showered in blood, shit and feathers... Quite good spectator sport for the crew behind!
Have had afew near misses with 'small dog syndrome' mutts..what is it with those little agro yapping dudes!!:killingme

F-ing cats! Why the hell should they be allowed to wander around the place, shitting in my garden and eating the wildlife? Exactly the same rules should be applied to them as to dogs, keep 'em on your property or on a f-ing lead.

So far nothing this summer, but to my shame I once bounced a WW ll vet off the fairing and broke his wrist and my indicator. He did sort of jump out onto the road as I was coming around a corner...........how I didn't roll right over him I'll never know, to make it worse I was so distracted and upset by the whole thing that I nearly did it again to some bloke on the way home!
This was many years ago on my first bike, but I never forgot it.
Oh and I was once charged by a ram on an open country road, I think he thought I was after his ewes

I think one bird, MULTIPLE bees and a whole fucking swarm of sand flies that literally coated my helmet/bike - it was fuzzy and black :|.
Missed a sheep and a cattle dog that ran out infront of me over a blind crest by a few M. I really need new tyres.

Seriously, I received a direct hit to my visor by a bid poo at 150k on SH16 and of course I went to wipe it away......it was like riding in a cloud the rest of the way....

had an interesting one hit me last weekend...I think it was a bee of some description....hard to tell after it kamikazied on the my visor then proceeded to head thru my air intake and splatter itself on the inside of the visor as well. then sit on the edge, waiting till i could stop and drop the wee sucker out.
But the weird thing is....and i have not noticed this before....it stunk! I wondered what the hell the smell was, wasn't till I figured out that the sucker was spread across the inside of the visor that i realised it was prob all its insides stinking the place up.... NOT very nice! :shake:

1 bird, thousands of bees, fly's, bugs etc & this is a good one, a DOG, lucky for me it was a staffie. The owner was not happy tho. Fucking thing shouldn't have been on the road, but because I didn't have my full licence at the time I didn't argue the point. Gave a false name and left.
But I had only just repainted my bike and as it went under it fucked my fairing!!

Well the other night it was nearly a stupid lady who decided to cross the road just as the lights went green. She saw me and then stopped right there in the middle ofthe road. Good handful of front brake and a wee weave, I got past her, dunno how she fared with the peak-hour traffic behind me though....:nono:
