Ohlins steering dampners are standard in NZ but we get to miss out on the rear cowl which is a bugger. Pricing one for it atm.

LOL....chicken strips are only there as the bike has done 15kms thus far.
It's now pissing down with rain so shall have to wait until tomorrow for the scrub in.
Will prolly be riding down to Auckland with NZKelt to pick up his K5 from Holeshots...a good excuse eh?

I had no problems with my K4 at all...I just saw it and fortunately was able to buy it. Would of been more than happy with what I had but hey I prefer this one...I admit,I'm a bike slut! :moon: :eek:

Don't need to check for oil - that was on the ZXR as I had to stop from time to time and wipe off the oil spraying from the leaky alternator cover onto the back tyre:killingme

Good thing Im not afraid of change. It was in the shop, then a lazy maybe call to make an appointment at the bank with the 'I dont expect it to happen' speech 'I'll be happy to stay on the gixxer' other speech, then he come bouncing into work with several grand in his pocket, OMFG here we go again:doh: Im sure he must have totally screwed the lovely bank lady without even touching her (all that charm, so few places to use it, ahhhhh). Next time its MY BLOODY TURN for a new bike, Im not quite done with sulking but at least I'll get to ride this one.
Shit it beeeeeeautiful. 35tkts, Tiller, TL Rider and I just sat and stared at it all night, then decided it wasnt shiny enough so 'wax on, wax off':woohoo:

Oooo just came back from Motorad, supposedly to try on some leathers for size and they've got one in the shop. Verrrry nice. The one they've got is gold/orange with gold flake. One thing I noticed is that the '06 has a shorter chassis than the '05 (parked next to it) it looks quite stubby up close. I could have just about ridden out on it right then and there though! Good thing my bank manager doesn't like me eh?

A few of us went up to wellsford this morning. What an awesome ride. :sweatdrop Apart from the frigging roadworks,gravel,watertrucks:argh: i didnt stop grinning from start to finish... What a bike the zx 10 is. !!!

Well after todays sedate wee ride I now KNOW I've made the right decision...no questions,100%
Sure ok I was pissy that I had to keep it under 4000 rev's :zzzz: but fark what an amazing bike to ride. Corners are nothing...at all! I'm not usually good at taking 'em slow but this just went round 'em with no stress.
Fark it's a horny looking beast too!! Can't wait to get my 1000km service...next week...cause then it's pretty much game on.
