Ibeleive theres a red camera van to keep an eye out for in the naki.
Where are we going?
Who knows! Its one of those lets just get out and see the country rides. Rodger going to test ride a GB400 he's thinking of purchasing, so there will be about an hour in New Plymoth just generally hanging out, passing the time of day and such. No hurry to get anywhere fast sort of thing. Could end up anywhere after that. Whangamomina has been mentioned :blip:
Beware of alians though. And wormholes.....................................

Red van No plate starts with ATM plus there is a white camera van been parked outside schools lately. Good luck!
Whangmomona is 1 1/2 hrs to go halfway to anywhere off the beaten track but is a good ride there & back. I have a backroads route typed up back to Wanganui as an option.

An elderly gent in his 70s went over it a month or so ago on his BMW R6 and the unsealed portion was hardpacked, totaly unlike the riverbed/goat track route we went a couple of weeks ago.
I'd be intersted in your back road route. Could you PM it to me? I'll pass it on to the others.

Yes folks I'm playing the "Wimp" card. :dodge: Just spoke to Rodger this morning. Looks like he's taking the van up instead due high winds, bad weather forecast, aircraft are grounded out at Ohakea open day today- so that means 35knot northwesterlies, around 50-60kph knots plus IIRC and generally foul weather. We don't want to subject riders/pillions to 3/4 of a day of generally unplesent riding.
Weather around New Plymouth isn't going to be any better-

I am willing set another smaller run for those still interested on going out on a scoot on Sunday. :scooter: Leaving at a later time from Gull in Tremaine Av, say 9am. Time to sleep in a bit :).
I'm also open to suggestions as to where to go and open to any abuse you care to throw :sweatdrop
Sorry for any inconveniance caused.

Bonez, I'm not sure what you were talking about, we had brilliant biking weather with only a couple drops of rain up here. Any way we had fun up here, there were about 20 bikes on our ride despite what the weather was suppose to do. Better luck next time.
