I had one. Great little bikes. $1500 sounds fair for that one.
Motor parts are expensive tho. $127 just for new rings the Suzuki shop told me. You shouldn't need them unless the motor obviously sounds sad. (then again,, 2 strokes always sound sad! :( ). Easy to work on the motors yourself if need be.
If your keen on the red on above, (which is suppost to be in New Plymouth), I could test ride it for you. If you buy it, I could bring it up to Tauranga too you for $50.

Seems like a good buy to me, its got low kays so won't need any work done to it for at least 10000km's (depending on how you ride it and maintain it)
Hi
Antallica what do you think the reserve will be on that RG150.
Thanks

Hi
Antallica what do you think the reserve will be on that RG150.
Thanks
It has been on Trademe before, they started wanting $2500 for it, which was overpriced.
I see that add has a buy now of $2100. They might have a reserve of $2000??
Make them a offer! I would only pay $2000 if you needed one quick and red was your favorite colour. :ride:

Yeah grab that red one cause its done less kays and it will give you some grace before you have to pull the top end off (around 20,000kms, or longer if its been given an easy life)

Ive had my RG150 up to 195kmh on the speedo, but i would say the actual speed was around 180-185kmh actual. You cant compare a RG150 to a FXR. To compare and RG150 you have to look more towards the Inline four 250 size...

Yep! 180kph! They go really well for such a small motor. Yet they still look like a medium size bike.
The GP RS125's go much faster than that even. Leave us 150's behind at race days.

holey cow- Ya know it wasnt so long ago that a proddy 250 stroker was struggling to make 180 let alone a 150
A CBR250 has been know to do 220kph with a derestricter kit. They come factory limited to 180kph and they will quite happily sit there all day.
gt i am in tauranga if you want me to have a closer look at it??

Hmm, yeah those speedos are pretty dodgy man. I would estimate the RGs top speed at 170 max, going by seat of the pants feel, and comparing it to the kwak. I topped an fxr out at 140 once.
