Most of you know Im crazy and slighty unorthidox in my mannerisims. (I also string random words together to try sound intelligent) :doobey:

Last night I decided that I needed to do something special for the other half considering I havent done so in quite a while. So I went out and bought various food items to make a romantic dinner and went all out showing my hidden cooking skills which only come out for special occasions. Went rather well I must admit. Even when one of my candles set the centre peice on fire, thanks God she didnt notice.

After a great dinner of shrimp cocktails, roast lamb and other assorted goodies................Ah.... What the hell, I ended up proposing!!!:first:

MissSniper and I are getting married!!!!:first: :first:
Ring burnt a hole in my pocket but who cares! Im the luckiest guy iun the world!!!! Hell I even agreed to a $20000 wedding.........!!!!

You guys are great!!!:first:

I'm not sure whether it true or not that marriage automatically results in an end to BJs, as I've only been married since January myself, and my birthday isn't until August. I'll let you know if and when I receive a 'present'.

Im not so sure on the BJ front either, but I hope to know soon enough if I ask politely. She got diamonds, surely its a obligatory contract?

Thinking of a party, but MS is organising it. Im bad at party organising....

Its Biff, he has to come, its never a party without a drunken Welshman.

My missis is cute? Thats a good reason

I'd bring my own beer? Thats a better reason

I can peform an awesome party trick using just a ball point pen and a possum as props? This I have to see

Awesome news, Sniper! Congratulations on your engagement and I wish you both a long and happy life together. I proposed to my beloved in 2004 and we married in 2005. Best thing I ever did, don't regret it for a minute.

If your beloved is a shorty like me, I even have a lovely wedding dress going cheap! (Matching shoes too!)

No matter what the wedding ends up costing, just remember the important thing is the love you two share. The day goes so fast, don't forget to take some time out to imprint it on your memory.

Woo hoo, that news cheered me up no end!

:Oi: I seem to remember a certain thread not that long ago...

"DISCLAIMER: This question in no way means we are getting married or plan to.

But MissSniper and I were discussing the cost of a wedding. She mentioned some extraordinary amount that made my eyes water and my testicals shrink into the safety regions of my stomach. For those that have been married and those planning to and those who may one day meet a blind person, what would be your thought to the average cost of a wedding? Also, what would you include in that cost, if you want to, you can add why."
