Probably showin' my age, but I like the style of the Estrella. The Volty's much better than the GN, don't know why they aren't more popular! You sure the Volty would suit a peashooter?

I do not have any posters. I have my dream bike for the moment, but for some reason my ultimate would have to be an Indian Chief Delux. I just like them.

On thinking, maybe I should get a poster??

see ya people:zzzz:

I have a picture of a Vincent black shadow on the wall in my den. It was and still is my dream bike. It has been on my many walls for over fifty years. I ended up with what I could just afford, a near new 1950 AJS 500cc single. The first rear sprung bike in NZ still with a single seat - dual seats came out the next year. At that time the Vincent was the fastest machine on the road.

You could've just taken a picture of a red garage door. Looks about the same.

I've got a pic of an '05 or '06 XT225 on my partition at work - modest dreams.

Oh, wait, I have an '02 or '03 (depending on who you ask) XT225. Guess it pays to keep your dreams modest... :ride:

[Edit] The same pic is my wallpaper on my work computer. My home computer has a BMW R100CS as the wallpaper.

Just a couple of framed photographs of old mounts around the walls in the house.
The workshop has a picture board of bikes/trips etc & a few posters around the walls, favourites would be MOKO Kawasaki 1200 & SPONDON/ Dreamworks GSXR1260
Screensaver is a 79 Ducati 900SS

I am surprised that more of you do not have a Britten on your walls. I had a Britten poster signed by John but my son took it.

Some years ago I visited the Auckland Easter show. I naturally headed for the Britten stall. I purchased my poster and was about to leave when John came in. He was surrounded by adoring young things. He looked over them and saw me, an old bugger, standing there with one of his posters under his arm. He elbowed his way through to me and started asking me things, not telling me things, he appeared genuinely interested IN ME.

I fell completly under the spell of his amazing carisma. I call it my Jesus experience, if he had said "Leave averything follow me and be a toolmaker in my establishment" I would have gone with him.

Not only his bike but his picture should be on my wall.

I must pressure my son to give it back.

MV Augusta F4.

Followed one down the motorway (sarge going for a jolly?) yesterday. Doesn't look the most comfortable of machines for motorway use, but it sounds sooooo sweeeeeet......

Just added a pic of a BMW R100CS to my hell-hole (sorry) cubicle wall. Will probably put up a pic of the BMW F650GS Dakar later, just because I love the "Bird of Prey" look of them, even though I have somewhat cooled on the idea of ever actually buying one.

There are a lot of bikes I would happily have pics of on my walls just because they look nice (which covers most bikes) that I'd never buy. Most sports bikes fall into that category - I can appreciate the look of them but my back aches at the mere thought of riding one.
