I still require a front fairing bracket, the one that mounts onto the frame. My one was bent, and wouldn't straighten properly.

Anyone who has one or knows anyone with one, please let me know.

Hey mate, did you try all thr wreckers around Auckland? Someone should have one... good luck finding one...

If you can't find one contact Rikki (Ricki?) at City Motorcycle Wreckers (09 376-9260). He striaghtened my sub-frame... he could give yours a shot

yeah i have tried most of them, seems they are an item that is usually stuffed on the bike when it is wrecked. I think that the old bracket is too wasted to reuse, i got our engineer here at work to play with it, and it did not straighten too well. Seem s the whole thing is twisted. Might have a chat with Rickie tho, he may be bale to do magic!:blip:

I've got a speedo for the ZXR250, only problem is the glass is smashed (could use flexi-glass or summat to replace it) and the needle has snapped off... no big deal if your good with your hands, you could fix it up... let me know if your keen... I'm not charging anything for it.

Just you may have to pick it up as I have no transport...

Also that guy selling the instruments on TradeMe, they are for a ZXR250 "A" not a "C" model. They are not interchangable (so I was told by the bike shop) and the "A" model instruments look crap compared to the "C" model.

There's a place in chch, Parrots, they repair speedos etc. They can probably replace the glass/needle. Hope that helps :)

Also a place in Auckland on Sale Street near Victoria Park markets... very pricy though. He quoted me over $400 just to replace the glass :gob:
