by looks of vid he just grabed the front brake when headshake came on, should of just backed of the gas a bit, to slow down first

I'll cover a few points raised if I may...

What happened with the crash is that as I hit the bumps on the exit of the corner there while still leaned over (although starting to bring the bike up) it lost traction on the front, which kicked the rear and reloaded the front again. It actually does that every lap, which is not normally a problem, but it was really cold that day and I'd only done 5 right hand corners prior to, so as it got a little out of shape it slid at the same time. For it to have crashed though I must've had some weight on the bars and it's that that caused the crash (which stands to reason that you'd have some weight on the outside bar as you're standing the bike up from the turn at that point). There was definitely no brake on...in fact...I was pinned in 5th at the time and couldn't believe it was happening when it did as I wasn't even in a corner. Certainly the weirdest crash I've ever had...and my first one for around 7 years I might add...

In the end I wasn't hurt at all (literally not a mark on my body...thankyou to my RST Leathers...) and the lap time on the other bike was more to do with an unfamiliar set up than anything (tyres, suspension, geometry) and the fact that I had one warm up lap and then the timed lap to do it. With a couple of changes more to suit me I'm sure I could've got a few seconds off that. And yes...I have done a 42 on my bike when the conditions were better.

Whether or not he grabbed a handful of brake, I'm not sure - it certainly looks like it.
I'm pretty sure he got off the throttle tho' and that must have transferred more weight forward helping him to lowside it.

Shit. Better not not buy a bike in that wobbly colour.

From the sound of it he kept the power on right up to the point when he had offically passed from the land of bike riding to the land of bike crashing.
Does seem an odd front end wobble though for a bike with a steering damper? Must be one of those parts from their Thai factory!
Now if that had been a ZX6R no one would be puzzled.
