Curiosity had me wondering which would be the typical kiwibikers favourite drop.

I'm a keen Coruba drinker, are there many others out there? I can't drink 2 cans of any beer without chundering.....
But I love every type of Spirit!

MrMelon

If they made taro flavoured tang they'd be onto a winner.

On a more serious note, appletons and coke is pretty tasty. Monteiths winter ales are pretty good and the new Tripel's are tasty too :D

Rainwater, that has passed through a peat swamp on the isle of Islay, that has been used to ferment malted barley, barley that has been toasted by fires of peat harvested from the same swamp, the ensuing wort then distilled in hand-hewn copper stills, the distillate then decanted into toasted sherry wood casks and stored in warehouses near the sea for 15 years, before being bottled and shipped. Taken orally with just a splash of mineral water. Exquisite.

Was a beer drinker, but was gaining wieght , Now on the wiskey diet I have shed kilos
Jenny craig didnt even come close to the wiskey diet ... after 12 ( naturally ) start with a small shot, then for dinner you can start filling the glass

I honestly lost 4 kg ...and the dog ,,,,

Still as long as it doesnt cost to much, and comes in a glass bottle ...( except bourbon , and Gin )

In fact when I lived in Greece Chippero came in 44 gallon grums and the wedding lasted for weeks

Why did I leave ,,,why !!!

Laphroig

correct spelling
Actually its Laphroaig, one of my favourites too!
In no particular order
Appletons Estate, Mount Gay, Glenlivet, Glenmorangie, The Wallace, Fighting cock (bourbon), wild turkey, JD's, JWblack or blue, and some others that I can no longer spell.
But for everyday drinknsing I will drink most beers except waikato. Some favourites include labbatts, molson, spitfire, winter warmer, and most good british ales.
But other than that Im not really very choosy.

Lambs Navy rum and coke.... mmmmm!
HEY!!! There are several 100,000 RN blokes ruining the lawn at cemetaries all over the world thanks to that sentence. They're all spinning at fairly high rpm too.

Straight Lamb's Navy Rum is a pleasant tipple, but I prefer Islay Single Malts, Talisker 15yr, and Laphroaig 15yr being favourites.

Beer: Any Monteith's or Mac's brew will do.

My favourite ale is Hobgoblin (http://www.wychwood.co.uk/wychwood_hobgoblin.htm)

I love beer!!!!
And rum. (gotta be appletons or mount gay tho)
but i must admit that once drunk i will drink almost anything and in too large a quantities and then make an ass out of myself.
The other night we had long island iced tea and then i decided to go behind the bar and drink straight out of the spirit bottles.
Ummmm, lucky we know the bar manager

Don't get fooled by the age of whiskey. That's just the length of time it spends in port or sherry casks, and they are stored for differing lengths of time to bring out different qualities. I like the Bowmore 10yr in preference to the 18yr, and the 10 yr Lagvulin in preference to the 16yr. Different distilleries play around with different lengths of time, and bottling can be an issue too. I prefer a screw top to a cork and foil.

Drink what you like not what you think you should like.

Beer: Tui or Waikato, almost anything free (cant even drink free Lion Red less I'm realllly thirsty)
Poncy beer: Monteiths Radler, Wanaka Beerworks Cadrona Gold (OMFG hard to find!), Sol/Corona + lime
Wine: Never really likes reds, will drink some whites but not much outside of Reisling / Ice wine
Spirits: If its straight? any decent Vodka or scotch, i'f I'm mixing, its bourbon (Fighting Cock and Heaven Hill are good imo)
Liquors: Havn't found anything I wont drink yet.. But especially Glayva, Drambuie, Kahlua, Baileys, Orange Contreau, Absinthe, Malibu & Midori. Honourable mention also to Liquer Galliano which I never buy myself but am always happy to drink when my parents have a bottle

Lambs Navy rum and coke.... mmmmm!

Gotta agree there, though the bottle of Rum we tend to win in the raffle on Waiheke on Anzac day is always good Mount Gay I think it was a shame though as when we opened it someone dropped the cap and stood repetativaley on it so we had to down it there and then........ sunset routine tanked with the vets was interesting!

EDIT and many a good night on Robart and Butlers Artillery port! Though cracked a bottle of $80 port with my uncle and that went down oh so well!
