The Great Taupo Luncheon

Anyone interested in a lunch at Taupo one sunday? Be a great opportunity for KBers from all over the island to get together and get a few kms under the belt as well.
Imagine group rides from all over all converging on one place for an hour or two...........Auckland, New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier, all within a few short hours of Taupo, what a buzz!

Id proberly be keen for that ride Aitch, depending on which day. For us waikato people we could ride down the mangakino way perhaps? nice twisty road that one, more interesting then SH1. Just noticed your scot oiler thread, i have one on my bike i could show you, they do work quite well.

Thought about Tokaanu hot springs as a meeting place before a snack somewhere before heading home.
Just remember the Rusty Nuts 1000miler finishes at Turangi on the 15th.
