Can anyone recommend a centre for MCSE/MCSA Certification in Wellington. I'm looking for fast-track/boot camp type learning.
I started an older MS course a few years back and the centre went bust, taking my cash and all work done to date - so one with some credability is desired.

Auldhouse and ACE have both been around for a while and I can reccommend them from personal experience.

I can second that one for Auldhouse. I'm currently looking at them to keep current. I've done a number of courses with them over the years so can personally recommend them.

Have not done a bootcamp but have done exchange, SQL, 2000 and 2003, VB Scripting through Auldhouse - all good:scooter:

you could try computer power in plimmer towers

its not a fast track. but you can do a year long diploma with a+ network +
mcsa or redhat and ccna

Thanks for the vot of confidence guys. I teach MCSE / MCSA courses at Auldhouse Wellington.

We used to offer Boot Camps in the old NT 4 days cos the exams were a lot easier and all you had to do was regurgitate facts and figures.
2003 Exams are actually quite tough, they test you more on your ability to APPLY your knowledge given a typical scenario, so first you have to figure out what on earth Microsoft actually want. Which is why we dont do "Boot Camps" as such although we do condense some of the basic courses into a week, so you don't have to do a 2 day course, then come back later for the 5day one.

Just buy the book, cram it for a week and book your exam online. They are all still piss easy, especially if you can get your hands on some gear to test with.

i have seen the win2k vs 2k3 exams.

I agree. I have been doing MCSE exams since NT 3.5 and the 2003 exams, especially the Design and Security stuff is MUCH harder than Win2k and NT4.
If you have a lot of Industry experience with the products it helps.

Don't tell me that I have just struggled through sql 2000 exams I found it a bit harder than the 2000 networking exams.

Now I have to attack 2003. Not sure I will ever get an MCSE though - just lots of unrelated exams - more fun that way:scooter:
