KH 100cc restoration in progress. It runs on leaded and is a two stroke. Can I do an engine swap for one thats the same size but is unleaded and 4 stroke? What do youse think?
Thanks in advance.
What?

Well, if you are doing a restoration, you would want to keep it original, would you not??
The 2 stroke will be fine on unleaded - lead was put in petrol to protect valve seats, and 2 strokes don't have valve seats.

Well yes and no and I don't know yet
I'm open for ideas. I like the old school look of it, but if there is a newer type engine that I could pick up reasonably priced I wouldn't mind going this way.
I'm normally a car driver see, so this is all new to me. :dodge:
Thank you.

And I would take the engine...
If you are going to restore it, then restore it. Otherwise you'd better be replacing the stop bits as well.
