Three months out of Christmas and Kmart already have Christmas trees and decorations on their shelves ... businesses are putting this stuff up earlier and earlier every year!

Kmart were the first business that I've seen to put Christmas decorations out on sale or to decorate their store with. Sure some businesses have been advertising layby now for Christmas but that doesn't apply.

Oh well, already had all of my Christmas decorations sorted out years ago and its all stored in the garage, even had some of the stuff fall on top of me last week :buggerd: while hunting for the charcoal BBQ

I'm already over Christmas too, the tree hit me on my head :(
... Middle of December ... the good ole days, nothing quite like a two week mad dash to get everything sorted. Shame about NZ Post delivery cut off dates.

At whitcoulls we got our first load of Xmas wrap/cards etc last week, followed by advent calendars at the start of the week. And shitlaods of it too.

Also next years calendars are coming in massive quantities... already got me a MotoGP one titled 'superbikes'.

Thing is how much of it is selling, you'd be surprised. Some people just like to get this kinda shit out of the way, i know i will be, saves the hassle in the 'christmas holidays' when every housewife is out with her 6mth old screaming baby and uncontrollable two year old... oh wait we got those at the moment too!

Last year i was officially the grinch, my mum usually puts the tree up after my birthday on the 30th of November, in '04 i managed to get that down to the 15th of December, in '05 she asked me to get it down from the top shelf(where it normally is) and i refused right through and up til the 24th of December when she gave up, thing it was down on the floor the whole time!
