Well only 3 days to go till Meanie, Mouse and myself head off to finish the 4 points tour. Gave my bike a birthday today with new filters and oil ready for the weekend.
We have East and North to get so it should go something like this..
Sat morning up early and on the bikes. Through hawkes bay to gisborne. Round the cape to get the 3rd card. On following the coast round to thames. There should be a beer and a bed waiting there for us.
Sunday morning we will be up at a more reasonable hour. Work our way up the island taking the motorway through auckland (we paid for those damn roads we may as well ride them) then striaght up the middle to houhoura for the 4th card and another rest.
Monday morning will be out and about early coming striaght down the island back to ashhurst.
So if you happen to see a Black GSX, Silver Ninja and orange Meanstreak in formation anytime over the weekend be sure to give us a wave.
cant wait.... It is going to be fantastic.

:sunny: take care on the roads north of Gisborne up to the cape lads the roads are not the best, lots of road works etc.they improve on the bay of plenty side. Will be up that way myself with a group so may spot you somewhere. The four points ride is always a good test of stamina, did it a few years ago.
Cheers guys have a safe ride, the weathers good for this neck of the woods for the weekend anyway,

When was the last time it wasnt a great day in gisborne? 1742?
Cheers for the heads up on roadworks. Hopefully it wont be overly bad. That is the main reason I think it is better to got that way round rather than going up north first and comin ghome via the cape. at least we will get the shitty roads out the way while we are still fresh.

if you get the 14 then hope they break something on your bike so you get to keep it for the weekend. Then I will be nice enough to lend you my bike while I take the 14 on the 4 points. At least then you could say that you weren't the one who binned it.
