tail End Charlie again but still loving it.

Dover, your mate on the 2 stroker took a dive on the way back. Seemed alright, I followed him all the way back to Papakura and he seemed to be getting his confidence back again,

Bit of cosmetic damage to the bike.

I'll watch out for the next run.

Had the "old" ticker pumping a couple of times. also had this almost irresistable urge for power and handling, Mmmmmmmm.

Maybe one day.

Dover, Boomer, see you Thursday for the Goat Track GP.

Hey, thanks all. Real good day as usual. The Coro loop is always worth coming out for and another round of new faces too.

Thanks for organising that Steve.

Shame about the coupla bins but have to thank Jimbo for the handy roll of duct tape. Came in handy when we patched up Dovers mates bike and got him back on the road again too. Think it's a good idea to carry a roll of that stuff around. Works a treat for roadside repairs.

Weather was nice and kind too. Dry roads where it counted the most :)

Here is a shite pic taken at the Coroglen but it shows the number of bikes we had out.

Good to see all the Coro regulars, korn, kelly, spud, boomer.

I think GIXser was expecting camera crews, he got out his nice shiney leathers and had his highlights redone for the day, I even saw him sipping THREE lattes throughout the day.

Trashie better practive those wheelies a bit more otherwise I think larrikens gonna ask boomer to replace him in the new DVD.

Farkin cool ride guys, thoroughly enjoyed the fast bits with with the old nail being thrashed good and proper.

Following Beyond back towards a Kopu for a couple of kays was entertaining. No one ever told you GSX1400s are boring old mens bikes mate?

JSG, I'm impressed man. You've come along way from a dangerous fuckwit on a shitty 250. Well done.

Thanks to Steve for organising a fantastic event, sorry I had to gap from Kopu but I discovered a substance that looked remarkably like engine oil coating the pipe and swingarm on the bike. Thought it prudent to return home. Turns out, you shouldn't store a spare can of Red Bull beneath the tail of the bike when travelling at those sorts of speed.:D

seing the green gas escape the nether region of his leathers" shortly after.Dover stuffing his face

Good write up Ed! nice spandex and pie posts girls.. keep it up!

my moments;

coming down the hill in the tight stuff, rounding a right hander to find 4 bikes parked in the middle of the road right behind an articulated truck; slam on only to see the trucks laid down loads of water. i manage to pull up beside the first parked bike :innocent:

following spb round a right hand sweeper at god knows what speed to find a car turning across our path into a drive way; i thought we were gonnas fore shore!

coming through Clevedon, trying to catch teh Dover and GixSer up, i'm absoultely shagged and haven't got the strength to push my trike around the corners, i end up in someones front yard. (The cummadore found it highly amusing)

Thanks for organising the ride Steve, and thanks DMNTD for draggin me into it, I learned a fuck of a lot about my bike from them thar hills and watching some of you riders smoothly sort the twisties out...and I learned how sane I was after watching DMNTD, period.

First KB ride for me so good to meet those of you I got to talk to, cheers for the cigs Brad. I was fucking toasted by the time I got home and feel like I've been butt raped by the south african front row (nothing intended Tony) and I loved every second of it (um, the ride, not the analogy :buggerd: )....apart from hitting the wrong turn and heading back to Whangamata before realising I'd fucked up and heading back to the thames turn off well zombied :bash: . Shit.

REALLY looking forward to the next one, thanks again! :2thumbsup

Thanks to Jimbo for the roll of duct tape. Helped out two off roaders that day :)

2 stroker: just as well you came off the road a few metres further on. Bit of a drop off a little closer to the corner and that would have been nasty.
Hope the bike isn't too much to patch up. Oh, get yourself a new helmet. Your one looked like it had done it's job well but it won't do it again.
